for the "find me" feature). A list of potential cities will pop up and you will need to click on the appropriate city. The weather for that city will then load.

.

and then click the location you want to change to or click on the red pin on the map.
6. How do I animate or loop the radar or satellite?
Click the play button
in the upper left of the map to show an animation or loop of the radar or satellite.
7. Can I change the radar or satellite so that I can see the map better?
Click the "gears"
icon in the upper right corner of the map and then drag the transparency slider to the left to make the data more transparent or drag to the right to make the data less transparent.
8. Can I have the"satellite" view of the background map?
In the info section of the map (under the "gears" icon
) choose your map background type. You can use "road", "satellite" or "terrain".
9. How do I get a longer forecast than just the high and low for the current day?
Click on the up arrow on the "daily forecast" panel (either below in portrait view or to the right in landscape view).
10. How do I get the hourly forecast?
Scroll over to the hourly forecast panel (in the "panel area" either below in portrait view or to the right in landscape view) and then you can scroll through the hourly forecasts for that day.
11. Why is my app running slow, freezing or crashing on iOS4?
You have to completely shut down apps by clicking your home button twice and removing apps from the list of all running apps. If there are too many apps running in the background, the device may run out of memory, which can cause the app to run slower or potentially get pushed out of memory and cause the app to crash. This happens quite often and is unfortunately a feature of iOS4.
12. Why does the cloud data (overlay) not always show clouds in my location even when it is cloudy where I am located?
iMapWeather use infrared satellite data to show clouds. This allows the cloud data to be seen on the map at all hours of the day. If we used visible satellite data, the clouds would not show up on the map after the sun has set in the marked location. Infrared satellite data does not always show low-level clouds very well in some situations (like low-level fog conditions). We are working on the ability to show both visible and infrared satellite data.
13. Can I switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit?
Yes. To do this, simply open the settings app on the iPad, scroll to the Apps section on the left hand side of the screen and locate iMapWeather. Tap on iMapWeather and you should see a switch to turn on metric units, then quit and restart the iMapWeather app.
14. Why do I get the error "access denied" when trying to add a location?
Make sure that you have location services turned on for your device. To do this, go to Settings -> General -> and make sure the "Locations Services" is set to "on".
15. Why is my settings screen blank?
This is intentionally blank at this time, and may be used in future updates.
